Families Gloucestershire – July / August 2013

Welcome to the Summer issue!

The upcoming summer holidays are filling me with the usual mix of a little excitement, much panic, swiftly followed by characteristic blind optimism.

Although I have been writing about the abundance of activities, events and fantastic places to visit for weeks now, I personally have not planned one little thing.
I believe this will magically happen in the week running up to the holiday, when I will also deep clean the house, restock the rainy day art cupboard and organise my study. Hmmm.

If you, like me, are not one of life’s planners then it’s not too late – we have plenty of ideas to keep your family occupied this summer. Learn a new skill together or enjoy one of the many activities in Gloucestershire that won’t break the budget.

And don’t forget to keep the What’s On section for your guide to summer fun across the county. Enjoy!
